The Dating Game Recaps

THANKS to all who came out on Valentine's Day 2009 to enjoy this great event!  Thanks also to Calvary Church in Naperville, IL for hosting.  It was a fantastic evening with approximately 250 Christian singles in attendance.  The contestants were great - there were a lot of laughs and the audience enjoyed shouting out their choices of the winning dates.  The only complaints were that it was too short!

 Following the "show" (complete with Applause signs, a show host and commercial breaks) the guests enjoyed hors d' oeuvres and friendly connections.  Shine.fm radio host Tower did a fantastic job as emcee and even spotlighted some guests during the refreshment hour.

Here are some of the comments we have received:

Kudos for a fun and well attended Cache - Dating event! Thank you for allowing me to participate in this great Christian single function. You have done a great service to all of us singles in a day that can be lonely. By the shear numbers of people and how many lingered around truly showed a need and how fun your event was.

I also want to recognize and congratulate you on being diverse and inclusive to all. Specifically, your vision of having a diverse cast of contestants from various ethnic and race backgrounds. This foresight just showed many how much Cache is a place for all. For that, you have my admiration.

I was nervous and hesitated as I'm shy and prefer to be 'behind the scene'. You got me out of my comfort zone and I applaud you to have me be a part of the show. Who would have known how funny it would have been!?

The social portion of the event was well done by your leadership to how others should mingle. This portion could be nerve racking, but I loved how you handled it by making it fun and sociable that it allowed all, even us shy ones to meet and greet others. Good idea and I met so many that enjoyed the event.

I came to my first event last week at Calvary and was pleasantly surprised.  I had a great time, and I really respect and appreciate what you are doing with this ministry.  I was relieved to see that there were attractive men in my age group who had great morals and appeared to have great character.  It helped me to feel hopeful again! Just wanted to tell you that I had a great time Saturday! Thanks for remembering us singles on a day that can be so depressing for us! Instead, we were able to come together with other like-minded singles, and mingle, and have a good time, instead of being at home wallowing in self-pity! It  was so wonderful to see you and Kim. You ladies are so lovely! It was also very nice to recognize some  people that I hit it off with at the New Years Eve event. That definitely encourages me to want to do  this more, to build up relationships. Yes, you can share my testimonials always. Hopefully,

The whole weekend was fabulous! I prayed 2009 would be full of
opportunities for me. I am so thankful to Linda and Kim for everything
including their prayers. It is amazing to see so many others like
myself looking for connections. The Dating Game was like just like the
real TV show..flowers, stage set up, music, applause, commercial breaks
and lots of laughs. Tower was the perfect emcee. Being one of your
special guests will forever be known as the most FUN experience for me
as a Christian Single!
