Can I update or edit my profile or settings after initial setup?

You can update or edit your account settings at any time by clicking on My Account Settings after logging in. Select the section(s) you’re interested in updating, make your desired changes, and then save your changes.  You can revisit your Questionnaire at any time to make changes to your profile by clicking on "My Questionnaire," making revisions and saving your changes.

What if I live outside of your current locations?

If we are not in your area, enjoy free membership until we get there!  Just sign onto the website and contact us and let us know you are outside of our current locations.

How long will it take for my photos to be approved?

Our Customer Care team approves photos at least once every day, including weekends.  If your photos have not been approved, the most common cause is lack of primary photos on your profile.  Be sure to upload a recent headshot and bodyshot against a plain indoor wall.

How do I cancel my membership to Cache’ Connections?

To resign, visit your account and click on Billing Management.  Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click  “Cancel Membership” so that your credit or debit card will not be charged and your account will not automatically renew.

Can I cancel in the middle of my subscription period?

When you cancel your membership at Cache’ Connections, the subscription term you purchased will continue. During that time, you will continue to receive new connections and have access to the community events. There will be no refunds or prorations of fees. There will be no automatic renewal after receipt of your notice of cancellation.

What happens to my profile if I cancel?

When you resign your membership at Cache' Connections, your account will remain active until your expiration date.  Thereafter, you will no longer receive connections.  However, your email address will remain on file, as will your profile and photos in the event you should choose to return to Cache' Connections.  If you want your profile completely removed, please contact us and we will delete your account.

Why am I not getting any connections?

If you are not receiving any connections, there are a few possible reasons:  1)  perhaps you have not completely filled out your address, including city, state and zip code, in your account  2)  please review your questionnaire to be sure it is completely filled out, then click the "Submit" button on the last page to begin receiving connections.

Why won't my photo upload?

It is possible that your photo is too large. The maximum file upload size is 2MB per file, or 8 MB total for your photo layout. Please consider cropping or reducing the size of your photo and try again. Also, all photos must be in jpeg format.  If this does not work, please contact us.

Can I pay by debit card or check?

Yes, we are happy to accept debit cards and personal checks for your subscriptions.  Use your debit card as you proceed through the sign-up process.  If you wish to pay by personal check, please contact us and we will make arrangements to set up your account.  Our mailing address is:  3420 Veterans Drive #395, Pekin, IL  61554.

What exactly takes place at Cache' Coffee Connections events?

1.  Please arrive on time in order to check in, receive your name tag, contact information cards and table assignment.
2.  Take your seat and begin filling our your contact information cards, on which you will provide your contact information to those you are interested in connecting with after the event.  Please use your first name and last initial, writing legibly.
3.  The activity will begin promptly with 4 to 8 minute introduction sessions.
4.  Please be polite and respectful toward your introductions.  Do not ask any personal information such as last names, specific places of employment, or for another date.
5.  When the timer goes off, if you are interested in further communications with that participate, please write his or her first name and last initial on the back of a contact information card.
6.  All males or all females will be asked to move over one table for the next set of introductions.  The timer will go off again to begin a new introduction.  Be sure to continue recording the names of those you are interested in on the back of the contact information card.
7.  By the end of the event, you will have met all participants of the opposite sex in your age range.
8.  Please turn your contact information cards in to the event coordinator, who will carefully disburse the cards to the appropriate parties.
9.  After the session, you may enjoy a social time over appetizers or dinner with the group.
10.  All communications after the event are the responsibility of the individuals.  We ask that contact be made within seven days as a courtesy to other participants.

Is it necessary to register in advance for Cache' Quick Introductions events?

Yes, registration is required for Cache' Quick Introductions events to ensure an equal number of males and females who will be participating.  All registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.  You may register as a standby in the event of a cancellation.  If there is no opening at that particular event, you will be given a credit toward the next event in your area, or you may ask for a refund.

No, there is never a promotional code for event purchases.

Do I need to be an active member of Cache' Connections to attend an event?

Normally, you do not need to be a member of Cache' Connections' online services to participate in Cache' Connections events.  Please check the particular event page for more specific details.

Your system will not take my debit/credit card. Why not?

The payment gateway used by Cache' Connections is sensitive to the exact information that is listed on your credit or debit card.  Please be sure to use the exact name that is shown on your card, including any middle initial.  Also, be sure that you have supplied the billing address as it appears on your statements.  Should you continue to have failed transactions, please contact us

The "ccv" is the last three digits shown on the back of your card.

What personal information will my connections receive?

Your connections will receive your first name and the city in which you live.  Your personal address and email address will not be revealed to other members.  You may divulge your personal contact information to your connections when you feel comfortable doing so.

Will I know if I have been marked as "not interested" by one of my connections?

You will not receive any notification if you have been marked as "not interested."  We often find that some members are too quick to mark someone as "not interested," as in cases with profiles without photos.

Does the 5 year age range mean 5 years older or younger than me?

Both.  You will receive connections up to 5 years older than you and up to 5 years younger than you.  Please consider widening this scope so that you can receive more connections, including those who may be slightly more than 5 years older or younger than you.  You always have the choice of marking someone as "not interested."

How can I increase the number of connections that I receive?

Connections are based on two criteria; mileage radius and age. You can increase your connections by widening the mileage radius and age range. Age limits are fixed at a maximum of 15 years difference. Choosing 350 miles will give you all possible connections in the United States.  These can be found under "My Account Settings."

Even though there can never be any guarantees regarding safety, Cache’ Connections is designed to attract Christian individuals who value integrity. Lastly, Cache' Connections has required photo specifications that helps ensure up-to-date photos. Every photo will be previewed before it is uploaded on the website.

Is my credit card information secure?

No one but you will see the credit card information that you key in; none of your credit card data appears on the administration side of Cache' Connections. Your privacy is protected.

All online transactions at Cache’ Connections are handled with industry-standard, 128-bit SSL encryption, which encrypts (or encodes) sensitive information before it is sent over the Internet. Cache’ Connections will never sell your information to any solicitor or company. The information you provide will be used solely for the intentions outlined on the site, i.e. making matches, etc.

Can I change my subscription plan?

Yes!  If you wish to change your subscription plan, simply visit your Cache' Home and go to Billing Management.  Click on the orange letters that state:  "manually renew."  This will take you to the subscription plans and prices.  You will need to enter your ccv from the back of your credit or debit card and click on the yellow tab titled:  "Process Order."  There are no upgrades or credits given for previous subscriptions.

I have a promotional code. How do I sign up?

You will need to choose the subscription plan for the exact amount of time that is offered to you on the promotion.  For instance, if your promotional code is for two weeks at $14.95, choose a two-week subscription.  If you have a free offer, you will still need to enter your credit card information as part of the validation process.

Is this website owned by Christian individuals?

Cache’ Connections is geared toward singles who share a similar foundation based on certain basic Christian beliefs. These beliefs are fundamental to a Christian relationship. By answering these questions, members will be enabled to make an informed decision on possible connections.

Is my subscription automatically renewed?

As part of our Terms of Service, all subscriptions are automatically billed to your credit or debit card unless we receive your notice of cancellation. If you pay online with a credit card or debit card, your card is charged immediately for your subscription package. When your initial subscription term expires, we automatically renew your subscription unless you choose to cancel your subscription.

Yes.  Please visit My Cache' Home, click on Billing Management and enter your new credit card information.  Next, click the yellow button titled "Update Billing Profile."

Why do I have connections outside of my age and/or mileage ranges?

The connection system is designed so that all connections will be mutual.  This means that although you may have the lowest settings for age and mileage ranges, someone connecting with you might have higher settings.  Having mutual connections alleviates the problem of receiving communication from someone whose profile you cannot see.  You always have the option of marking a connection as "not interested."

Why do I have to pay for this service?

While this dating service for Christians can be considered a ministry, it is also a business.  It is a costly endeavor to launch a business of this complexity and scale.  Additionally, it is a full-time job for the founders and also requires contracted services from other professionals.  We feel the minimal monthly expense for members is well worth the matchmaking and community services provided for Christian singles.

How do I report abuse or offensive behavior?

Cache’ Connections has a zero tolerance policy on the use of foul or suggestive language on this site. Any reports of abuse can be emailed to “contact us.”

How do I upload a photo?

On the My Photos page, you will see a “browse” button. Click this box and select the photo file you want to upload from your computer. Clock on the yellow box titled “Add Your Photo” and your photo will appear on your profile.

What are the photo guidelines?

Member’s two primary photos must include one head shot and one body shot taken against a plain wall or door. These must be recent photos taken of you (within 3 months) and must not misrepresent you in any way. Thereafter, you may post up to six additional photos. Do I have to post photos as part of the sign-up process?

Photos are not required, although highly recommended.  We must first approve your primary headshot and bodyshot taken against a plain indoor wall (please, just you, no coats, sunglasses, hats, etc.) before approving up to 6 casual/candid/family photos.

Will my profile be seen by the public?

No personal profiles or photos are available to the general public without your written permission. There is no open browsing at Cache’ Connections. Only paying members have access to other’s profiles.

Why don't you have a scientific matchmaking system?

After much research and prayer, it became evident that this was not God's plan for Cache' Connections.  We are committed to being very forthright to our members in every aspect of the business.  In our research, we discovered that there is not any scientific method that can guarantee that two people will come together and marry.  Even though compatibility can be determined at different levels, the decision to form a relationship will ultimately come down to personal choice. Therefore, we believe it is important to prepare singles to make this decision wisely.  We attempt to accomplish this through the questionnaire guidance, prayer and expert advice.

Can I make my profile inactive if I am pursuing a relationship?

Members can change their profile to “inactive” status at any time by going to “My Account” and clicking the “Inactive” option. Be aware that your subscription is still active and payment does not discontinue for the inactive period.

Can I do my own search or use open browsing?

Cache' Connections is not designed to be an open browsing environment.  However, you can receive all possible connections within 15 years of your age.  Simply visit "Account Settings" within your account.  Change the age range to 15 years and the mileage range to 350+.  This will allow all members from across the United States and beyond to be connected to you.  It is not possible to be connected to a member who is more than 15 years older or younger.

Can I re-use my username?

Usernames are and must remain 100% unique. There are numerous systems within the Website that rely on this uniqueness. Even after a profile is "deleted" there are systems that use the information about the unique username. So, usernames can never be repeated.

I am legally separated from my spouse. Can I become a member?

Every member of Cache’ Connections must be legally single. Being legally separated from your spouse does not constitute being legally single.
