"The Real Deal"
"For many years, we have prayed about and hoped for a service like yours, one that is willing to be overtly Christian, and one that promotes marriage within Godly, healthy parameters."

Ready to move forward and "Get Out Of The Boat?"
Finally, believers have a common connection point to find each other and take a step towards a new relationship.

Shana Schutte’s bedroom closet is filled with stacks of spiral notebooks. “Writing has been a way for me to communicate since I was twelve. My journals are a record of many wonderful events but also hold memories of disappointment and anger with God.”
In 2001, God took Shana from teaching middle school in Houston, Texas to teaching adults with Texas-based ministry Kids Talk About God (KTAG). Then in 2003, God used KTAG to launch her into a speaking and writing career when she founded Run to God Ministries. Later she began
working as an editor for Focus on the Family and is now a regular contributing author for Focus on the Family and Mission of Mercy.

Shana’s current book project project is a redemption of her many journal entries. Through the book, Shana prays women understand that brokenness doesn’t have to be a permanent state. “I also want to convey the negative places feeling offended by God can lead us if we are not able to let go and let God have His way in our lives.”
Shana is grateful for the mentors God has given her for encouragement. “When I was twenty-four one of the greatest gifts I received was a relationship with a wonderful woman named Cheryl. She taught me to look to Christ for emotional healing and strength. It was a turning point.”
Another turning point came when Shana attended Houston’s First Baptist Church. Under the instruction of popular author and Bible teacher, Beth Moore, Shana learned to love Scripture. For two years, she benefited from Moore’s passion-filled teaching. She is grateful how God used her tobring her where she is today. While at HFBC, God gave her a vision to speak and teach others through writing.
Today, Shana still holds a pencil and spiral notebook in one hand, and God’s hand in the other.
