Emily Shupert

Emily Shupert, LAPC, MABC

A native to Atlanta, Emily graduated with a degree in clinical Child Life Therapy at Samford University and received a degree in Theology and Psychology integration at Dallas Theological Seminary.  After serving as a counselor the last several years in Dallas, she has returned to Atlanta to continue her counseling practice by joining GROW, heal, live, lead, llc.

Emily's primary specialization with clients are working with adolescents and young adult women.  Emily's specialization includes issues that focus on singleness/dating, eating disorders, anxiety/depression, parental counseling, and other relationship issues.  Her clients include referrals from physicians, private/public schools, professional organizations, social workers/mental health professionals, universities, churches/synagogues, hospitals and civic organizations.  Her individual clients span a complete range of socio-economic backgrounds, genders, ages, marital status, and beliefs.  Family members may be included in this counseling process if needed or requested.  Please inquire with Emily if you have any

Emily is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), Christian Associates of Psychological Studies (CAPS), Prepare/Enrich certified, and a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC).
