The Philosophy
When it comes to matters of the heart and soul, science can only go so far in measuring compatibility and the all-important element of chemistry. Despite the emphasis on scientific matching systems in today’s dating society, it is highly unlikely that a successful connection will be based solely on science. Matching systems offer a great advantage by providing information to determine common interests and compatibility, but cannot absolutely determine whether two people will come together and eventually marry.
The decision to form a relationship will ultimately come down to two individuals prayerfully making that choice for themselves... by getting to know each other through communicating and spending time together in a variety of circumstances.
Cache' Connections helps in this process by:
- Providing a detailed questionnaire to help singles make informed decision for themselves
- Offering advice to members on forming healthy relationships
- Partnering in prayer with all members regarding connections
The response to four non-denominational faith statements upon sign-up informs members whether they share the same foundational beliefs. Members will have a choice to agree to faith statements that are widely accepted and embraced in Christian society. A member's response will be evident in their personal profile.
The questionnaire is a self-discovery process in itself. The questions are designed to help singles come to a deeper level of understanding about themselves and what qualities they desire in a potential connection. Cache’ Connection members are given relationship advice by Drs. Tom and Beverly Rodgers as they progress through the questionnaire.
While completing the questionnaire takes some time, it is time well spent for those seeking a long-term relationship. The questionnaire contains crucial information for potential matches that can be evaluated before choosing to initiate communication. This information would not be readily available on a typical first date or introduction by friends, and can therefore help prevent futile time and energy being spent on incompatible connections. Also, members at Cache’ Connections understand the value of the extended faith and beliefs section of the questionnaire, which is the basic foundation of any relationship.
