From Terri:

I so enjoyed the makeover services at The Experience. I went in the week before the big date and was treated to a haircut and style by a wonderful stylist named Melinda. She did a great job and I enjoyed talking with her about the "date" to come. Then I was treated to a wonderful pedicure by Leah. I enjoyed my time there and Erica was extremely helpful, generous and kind.

From Matt:

It was a very interesting and eventful evening. I started out by meeting the limo driver at Anderson Japanese Gardens and proceeded to pick up Terri at her location. What a cool limo it was. We had our own wet bar with fiber optic lights that changed colors intermittently. So When we picked up Terri her neighbors were secretly watching us even though it looked like they were fixing their driveway. Anyway, Terri looked gorgeous and I was honored to accompany her to the gardens. As we traveled to the gardens we discussed marriage and children. LOL! Ha Ha! Not really, We are not sure what we talked about, but we had butterflies all the same. OK. So now we are arriving at the gardens and we step out and locate our photographer who, by the way, is a friend of mine from church. "Wow! Small world ey?" I said in a loud voice. He replied, "Yup" And then we proceeded into the gardens to
take pictures and spent all but 15 minutes shooting film, like we were in a professional photo shot for Glamour or G.Q. But it was fun and the photographer from Better Images was super good at making us feel comfortable. '

Then we said goodbye to the Anderson Gardens and drove off to our restaurant destination, called Josef's of Barbados. Upon arriving there, we sat down in a dimly lit room with all white table cloths and little tiny candles. So, for a starter (they don't like using the word Appetizer for some reason) we had seafood trial platter that had oysters,(Terri says yuck) lobster claw, crab claw and shrimp no claw. The other starter we chose was oxtail ravioli with beet diblets. I actually was crazy enough to swallow an oyster whole. Moving on....for salads Terri had Caesar "With NO ANCHOVIES" and for the man he ordered the Josef's house salad which consisted of baby greens that only a baby rabbbit would consume. Oh with parmesan cheese and... well it was good! For our main dishes Terri chose the jumbo shrimp with barley parmesan and garlic and asparagus. I had fillet of dover sole in a tout sauce.
This delightful dish was covered in butter. I, Matt, being allegic to butter, had to ask the waitress to please make another dover sole with no butter. This little snafu made us late in leaving for our final secret destination. And then we hit traffic.
